Golden Chicken in bay shore

Took my brother and my parents here before my flight at LaGuardia. It’s been years since I went to this spot and it holds a special place in my heart because it is the first restaurant I ever tried Peruvian food at. The lomo saltado is my favorite dish of all time. They had a great lunch menu selection, but the full menu was available as well. Ordered an array of dishes. Portions were fantastic. Thank goodness my dad and I got the lomo saltado on the lunch portion. (Lunch entrees come with either a soup or salad, or soda!) My mom and brother got the dinner portions and it was definitely a bang for your buck. I would love to come back the next time I’m in my hometown. 100% recommended! The food brought me back to the time I visited Peru. The portions, the service, every was on point. Our server Lia was so friendly, everyone kept on checking on us to see if we needed anything. The sangria was so good compared to other places. If you're looking for good food and a good time, Golden Chicken in Bay Shore is the place.

Eaten here multiple times, hits every time. The leche de Tigre was 10/10. My Churrasco was cooked perfectly will order again and again … and again. I just wished they had a drink menu. Sangria wasn’t bad though!

This was our first time at Golden Chicken, and it started off strong. We were greeted right away, seated quickly, and our waitress was friendly. The rest of the staff also seemed welcoming. The appetizer was good and made the experience feel promising. Unfortunately, the experience declined once we received our food. One person in our group ordered churrasco (medium), but it came out overcooked. After the food arrived, the service became very inattentive. We asked for water twice and never received it, and no one checked in on us afterward. As for my meal, I had the chicken fried rice and beans and had no complaints — it was good.
