Golden China

So good, consistent, fast, good price, and the kids love it. Wish they were open on Sunday, but I’d still eat there if they choose to take 2 days off so they don’t burn out.

I’ve been going here since I was in my mom’s womb(I’m 21) and I tell everyone “Golden china is the BESTTTTTTT!!!” Great costumer service and even BETTER FOOD!!!! If you want delicious American Chinese food you have to come here can’t recommend it enough!

I feel like some of the reviews can be ignored as they are just picky customers who walk around with high expectations instead of an open mind , yea the food quality isn’t top tier but at the same time your complaining about that when the portion size is literally double any where else; great bang for buck during lunch time 11 and some change I got 2 egg rolls and in the picture I already ate the other half it was so much food , side note if it’s your first time going out to try any Chinese and you don’t get sesame chicken you already dug yourself a grave if disappointment ; think of it as seasme chicken is like the abcs or 1+1 if they can’t do the basics why would you try anything else , so that being said I’d only trust their seasme and orange chicken the rest looks to risky lmao

Out of all the Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in Durham, this place had the lowest priced lunch specials. I got the twice cooked pork with a side of egg drop soup, and the variety of veggies in the entree was surprising. I also liked how the sauce wasn’t too overwhelming, and the pork was pretty good for the price. Only complaint that I had for the restaurant was that they put everything in a small paper bag, and the sauce from the container leaked all over the bag. Other than that, I was quite satisfied with the meal.

I ordered a quart of vegetable fried rice. It is enough for several servings. The food is delicious and tastes very fresh. It is full of broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and other veggies. It is very filling to me. They have so many choices to choose from. It is take out and not dine in currently. Parking is right across from the restaurant. You can call in and pick up or order and wait. They are closed on Sunday.
