Golden China Restaurant

AVOID THIS PLACE. We ordered food from here off of DoorDash. We found BUGS in all of our dishes. We called the restaurant and they denied it. They said they spray monthly and it is not possible. It was apparently “black stuff from the wok.” If you look at the photos attached, you will clearly see bugs. Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely disgusting.

I usually don’t take the time to do reviews, but I feel like I’m doing a disservice if I don’t. On the road a lot for work, and on the days I don’t pack a lunch Chinese is my go to. More recently my usual has been a chicken and broccoli with a side of white rice. I stopped by this place on my way to a job. Couldn’t be more letdown in my entire life. Rice was hard and clumpy and had some what of a weird smell to it - most likely microwaved old rice. The gravy in the chicken and broccoli wasn’t the usual texture of most Chinese restaurants. Taste was a little off as well. They did not give me the usual egg roll but instead they replaced it with a spring roll that was mushy on the inside. Just do yourself a favor, drive, walk, or jog a few more minutes to a different spot. Now I’m down $11

Finally got a chance to try this place out. Pretty straightforward and standard place. But thats where it stops. Out of the few chinese food spots i been to so far here. The vibe here was great. The owner Chase was super cool and friendly and we had a great conversation. Now what yall wanna know is the food good? Well yes it is. I got chicken wings and rice, and steamed dumplings. The sauce for the dumplings is really good. And the food has flavor and geta you nice and full. Portion to price is very fair. Just on the service alone ill be back but the great food on top of it definitly makes it a place to return too. *UPDATE* Well i was hungry and didnt want to cook so i stopped in to get some lomein. I dont know what happened but it wasnt good. The elderly lady at the counter was nice. But

Very good food! We get sweet and sour chicken and general tso's chicken.(General two's is not spicy) Amazing! It is very cheep to! One large is plenty for two people. Fantastic take out!

Stopped in here for a takeout lunch. Great rice, chicken, and broccoli meal. Only waited about 10 minutes for them to make it from scratch.
