Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Everything was great. The steak grilled to perfection. The only obstacle was a constant beeping throughout our stay. It finally stopped as we were leaving.

Sooooo busy but it's Sunday so the place is packed as it should be. Our waitress Tina was on top of it, our table stayed clean and our cups never went empty. Food was good, HOWEVER the staff just couldn't keep up with the food on the bars. Plenty of staff none of them properly trained for this type of volume of people. EXCEPT FOR TINA THE WAITRESS she's knows how to do her job at least.

Loved the service and the variety! So many great things to choose from! Definitely improved since the last time we went. The person kooking the steak tonight did a wonderful job. My kids really loved him. Tina is super awsome. She always takes very good care of us. I really recommend going more than 1 time just because the service may be different sometimes. Around 5pm is when we like to go. Thats when the food seems to be the freshest.

My adventure started by the cashier giving me ice tea sweet enough to put me into a coma. I am a diabetic and asked for unsweetened tea. Then I know that it takes time to change from lunch menu to dinner and there comes a rush of customers, but when handling food there is a cleanliness protocol that can't be stressed enough. Food poisoning and cross contamination. I had to change my shorts. The man on the grill was cooking all the steaks well done regardless to what you wanted and was slicing them down the middle sideways so they would cook faster. I pointed to a peace I liked that looked medium, he set it aside on the grill to cook some more and chose a very thin fully well done pease for me. I can tell they anticipated the customer load but keep it clean people.

I love this place but it really was rough on this visit. Lots of empty dishes, the pot roast was so hard you could not break a piece off and baked potatoes were mush. Many dishes looked like they may have been out for awhile. It was around 6:45pm on a Saturday evening. It might have been a hard night for them. The salad was great and the meats to add to the salads were fresh. Dessert was much smaller options then I have saw in the past but all looked good.
