Golden Hof - Korean Bar & Grill

Awesome restaurant for locals and tourists alike. Very big, suitable for large groups or date nights. We got the chicken wings with honey garlic sauce, dumplings, kimchi pancake, and the famous dessert pancake. Sam (the chef) stopped by our table to introduce himself and chat for a moment. The staff came by frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The melon cocktail was fabulous, and the margarita was just ok. Our favorite dishes were the chicken wings and the kimchi pancake. If you don’t like the flavor of butterscotch (i love it), then you might not like the dessert pancakes!

The pancake at Golden Hof is absolutely outstanding. It’s incredibly fluffy, light, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The outside has a delicate crisp while the inside stays soft and airy, creating the perfect texture in every bite. It feels like a classic pancake elevated with a gourmet touch. Without a doubt, one of the best pancakes I’ve had in New York. Highly recommended. 🥞

We walked in on a Friday night without a reservation and were seated right away. We got seats at the counter overlooking the kitchen, which made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious, and the pancakes were a 10/10. They were fresh, light, and practically melted in your mouth — definitely recommend trying them. Since we were seated next to the kitchen, the chef even came by to check if everything was okay, which was a really nice touch 😊

Went with family and had a great time. Food was great and decently priced for midtown. Good size portions. Our server, Denise, was very nice and attentive. Can’t wait to come back. We ordered: Buldak dumplings (very spicy) Cucumber salad (delish!) Kimchi pancake (not my favorite) Chicken Wings (amazing!) Cheeseburger (great!) Japchae (fantastic!) Fried Rice (so-so) Rosé Rigatoni (scrumptious!) Pancakes and Soft-Serve Swirl for dessert (5⭐️)

This place was fantastic - my girlfriend and I loved it! We went on a Wednesday night, we highly recommend making a reservation. We were lucky and were able to make one the same day. The food was so delicious, I got the cheeseburger and she the salmon. What we really went for were the famous pancakes, and they did not disappoint! They taste better than they look. The only thing we didn’t like was that the tables were placed so closely together, making the aisle walking path narrow and constantly hitting people and servers walking by. Other than that fun atmosphere. Highly recommend, we will be back.
