Golden Hour Bake House

This delightful little coffee shop feels like stepping into a summer ice cream sundae the moment you walk through the door. The bright, cheerful colors create such a warm and inviting atmosphere. My sister and I both ordered the gingersnap matcha latte, and it was absolutely fabulous — perfectly balanced, cozy, and delicious. The staff were incredibly sweet and courteous, which made the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back!

This place is very bright and colorful. It's a great coffee shop on the downtown square and especially great for weekend travels. My sister and I tried the Gingersnap Matcha Latte and it was really delicious. The staff were eager to help if we had any questions about drinks or food which was very helpful! It was also nice they had a few different milk options for drinks too. I am looking forward to try their foods and drinks.

Placed a cake and cookie order approx 1 month in advance. Was ghosted! No email Follows up after I proposed a question about how I would be invoiced. Then week before pick up, I emailed twice. No response. I called the phone number listed and the voicemail was full. Needless to say the business didn’t try to connect with me. I resorted to Sam’s bakery as a last min decision. I really wanted to purchase local.

I had been looking forward to trying here and it was a disappointment unfortunately. Staff was nice but it’s not worth it. I anticipated them being out of a couple things since I got there around 1pm but I didn’t expect it to be the majority of the menu including lunch items. The hot chocolate had a whisper of chocolate, my husband’s tasted just like warm milk though. As for the food, his French toast was burnt and my grilled cheese was black on one side, conveniently plated to hide that fact. The tomato soup was just a tomato paste or pasta sauce. Woman working the front counter was nice but didn’t tell people what items were gone until after deciding to order. It happened to me and multiple patrons that came in afterwards. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Super cute place. Fun colors and vibe inside. Most of the people are pretty nice. The goodies did look tasty, though we ended up not ordering brunch/lunch - tables are spread out; only one emptied while we waited in line for 20 minutes. And even that table was snatched up by someone in a group behind us in line. 🫤 Nothing the staff can do about people camping out at tables - like the single person at a 4-person table. Additional seating or a bar/counter option for single guests would help alleviate the 4-people tables being used by 1’s or 2’s. We went elsewhere to eat but my wife did enjoy her drink.
