Golden Ocean Chinese Restaurant

After being in California for 3 months, this is all I wanted to eat when I got home, if that doesn’t tell you how good this place is then wow, you are missing out! The staff is amazing, they remember my name and what up like, and the food comes out amazing Every. Single. Time.

I dont understand the portions we received. We got about a half cup of white rice for the entire veggie delite meal, which was not very good to begin with. Honestly, it takes a lot of effort to make vegetables as weird as these were. But the fried rice we upgraded to for our other meal was about 2 full cups.... for $1.50 more than white. The chicken was mostly breading, save a few big pieces. The orange sauce is good and the rangoons are unique, but this is below average even for Treasure Valley

Amazing and clearly home made food! We ordered the hot and sour soup and there is a slight kick but perfectly balanced (this is a 1000%the soup you want to order if your ever sick), the crab Rangoons which were so fresh and unique, the garlic shrimp stir fry which had a slightly sweet taste but amazing and large shrimp, the curry chicken stir fry which tastes just as it sounds and was amazing, and the lemon chicken that came with sauce on the side which was a welcome surprise so my kids could choose the right sauce amount for them. All of this with side containers of white rice. Food came hot and fresh and delivered to wilder for 6$ (but they base it off address so call first in case you want to have it delivered here). 10/10 would recommend!

If you haven't been here yet, you'd better go try this restaurant!! The food and service was wonderful as we were very impressed. We definitely will make the drive from Ada county again, very soon. Please go!
