Golden Phoenix

I use to come here often but haven't been in a long while as we have local Chinese food place that is pretty good but they are on vacation and the restaurant is closed for the month. Golden Phoenix only does ToGo now which is usually fine with me. I ordered pork egg foo yung (always ) without the gravy (which is just a lot of added fat and salt) that drowns out the flavors of the food. The counter person told me the vegies and pork would be on top. I thought weird but I'll give it a shot. Got home and open it to find huge thick doughy pancakes (no eggs). It was disgusting. The pork was so tough as to be Inedible. Not Egg Foo Yung!!! I won't be back.

Very please with our stop here! The restaraunt was very clean and relaxing. There is a nice waterfall in the entry-way that is soothing to listen to while eating. The staff was unbelievably friendly. So nice and quick to cater our needs. The opener is very proud of their restaraunt and definitely works their hardest keeping customers happy while serving quality food. We will stop by when we have a chance! Definitely a nice place to eat even with the large menu! Thanks Golden Phoenix!

Update 11.30.2021.. Haven't been here for a while. I will not be returning any time soon. There was no flavor to the beef and broccoli. There was broccoli that was cold. For $16+ it was not worth it. Food is good, just that I am cheap and don't want to pay for rice when it should come with the dish.

Oranage chicken and chicken fried rice, I have been getting it for the past 4-5 years, and my god. Best Chinese food in the area. I am from back in New Jersey, and man, this come second place from the best chinese food ever. I didn't have any veggies, but I wanted extra eggs for $2. The spicy oranage chicken is just perfect, so it's not killing me, but it's gives it a nice taste.
