Golden Skillet

Had the Big Skillet Sandwich and it was good as usual. Had a little bit more crispy stuff on the ends before you got to the meat but otherwise good. Was tempted to order a few other things after looking at the menu but kept it to just the sandwich. The fish and the gizzards are my favorites. Def a good location to pick up a quick fix. The counter lady is always nice too.

Got excited remembering how good this chicken used to be when I saw this location. Went a bit out of my way to grab some. It was so disappointing. The chicken had no flavor and tasted like the grease needed changing. The fries were good, but that's about it. To go only... no dine in options. Will not go back.

Yes, There still Open. Still has Great Speedy Services for your Lunch period. I definitely recommend stopping by. Smiling faces, quick services, fresh hot food, an some good sweet tea😁

I don't think this place is even open anymore. I googled restaurants near me while passing through. I chose Golden Skillet because I haven't been to one since I was a kid, so I was excited to see that they still existed. Google maps led me to the place. It said Golden Skillet on the outside sign, but the sign was not on and no one was there inside nor any cars in the parking lot on a Saturday night around 7:45 pm - 8:00 pm, so it wasn't real late or anything. Google showed they were open, but they were not.
