Golden Wall Chinese Restaurant

I ordered chicken chow mein. According to the internet, chicken chow mein is: "a classic, popular Chinese stir-fry dish consisting of noodles, vegetables, and chicken tossed in a savory, soy-based sauce" when I got home I opened the container and to my surprise I was given chopped onions and a couple pieces of chicken in a white sauce. I called and they told me that's what I ordered. I asked what chow mein noodles are and she said it is vegetables (onions) stir fried in white sauce. I ordered a side of Lo main noodles and they came as they should.. boiled noodles. For those that don't know, Chow mein is stir fried noodles and Lo mean is the same egg noodle but boiled. How do they not know this? Am I crazy? To the garbage can it goes! I guess we will be having frozen pizza again.

We had take out and really enjoyed our food. We've never been disappointed. I ordered chicken with vegetables and asked if they could make it spicy. Oh so good with the perfect level of heat that I would have gotten with Hunan style. There was a great selection of vegetables including what must have been fresh, local produce of cauliflower and zucchini. Very happy!

Every once in awhile I try this place because it is near my house and every time I'm disappointed. I ordered a large beef lomein and an order of steamed dumplings. The lomein only tasted of oil and the dumplings had no taste. Strangely, the dipping sauce for the dumplings was the tastiest I ever had. The customer service was subpar. The woman at the counter gave me the impression that she had better things to do than wait on me. Someone needs to build a new chinese food place in Willow Street because this one is lacking.

FYI, Not a Buffet. It is a sit down restaurant, but they dont serve you. Most ppl get it as take out. The food is pretty good and worth getting, though.

Little hole in the wall location, but awesome food. My wife and I love the Lemon sauce and the tempura batter is consistent and good.
