Goobne Chicken - Artesia

I stopped by Goobne Chicken with my family and really liked the vibe here. The place is bright, open, and super clean with high ceilings and plenty of space between tables, so you don’t feel cramped at all. There are TVs on the walls, comfy booths along the side, and a casual, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to hang out and enjoy your food. It’s the kind of spot where you can sit down with friends, take your time, and actually enjoy your meal instead of feeling rushed. Maddison was very kind and good with her service. She offered us to play mini games to get prizes! Great place overall!

Goobne Chicken is the latest Korean Chicken restaurant that doesn’t deep fry but powerfully oven roasts their chicken and even their waffle fries for healthier option. I know what you are thinking, how is the taste and texture? AMAZING! I love the glazes to all of their chicken sauce options from spicy to sweet to cheesy. The texture is nicely coated and juicy on the inside. First time there and out with friends or family? Order everything UFO! I am NOT JOKING! The food was very delicious and the young lady who took my order at the front was very polite and professional. She got my order correct on the first try even though my accent can be a little strong, but she was very patient and understanding. Overall I like the calm atmosphere of this place and its food.

It comes in a variety of flavors and doesn't fry, so it's clean and light. It's worth a try!

On Sunday, December 14th 2025, around 6:30 PM, I went to pick up my chicken order. I told the young woman employee I was there to order the chicken, but she didn't hear me. I repeated the request, but she still didn't hear me. I told her who the customer was, and she didn't hear me. I repeated it three more times, and I almost yelled, saying she could hear me. From what I could tell, this was clearly intentional. The employee was a young woman in her early 20s with dyed hair, so there was no way she wouldn't have heard. It was clearly discriminatory and intentional. As a Korean, this was my first time at a Korean chicken restaurant, and I was so shocked and dumbfounded. If it weren't a Korean brand, I wouldn't have tolerated it. But I'm still angry. I hope the owner trains his employees pr
