Good Habit

I have been here multiple times now and so glad we finally have a healthier, fresh option in Yuma! I’m also a big coffee snob and LOVE the espresso machine and coffee they serve! It’s one of the things I look for when looking at shops, and they have the best one in Yuma! The food was also delicious! I have tried their açaí bowl, breakfast panini, chicken pesto, and their baked goods.. all delicious! I got breakfast for my team and some members raved about the sunrise and coco loco bowl and plan to try that next, they just look so interesting! They have nice patio seating which was nice to sit out and enjoy my coffee and breakfast with the nicer weather we’ve been having. The service has always been nice and they remember me when I go, which is refreshing and not common these days!

We finally made it out to Good Habit and we’re so happy that our high expectations were surpassed! The food was delicious, especially the sandwiches we tried. They were warm and savory with yummy sauces that took the flavors to the next level. The salad was very fresh and we loved the home made croutons. Finally we have a spot in downtown Yuma for fresh food with fast and friendly service.

I ordered an açaí bowl and the employees used spoiled pineapple. The restaurant advertises fresh ingredients but there is canned spoiled pineapple in the açaí bowl. The restaurant also was not very clean and had flies everywhere. I’ve heard good things about this place so maybe just a mixup with my order.

My friend has been raving about their Espresso Coconut Float and now I know why! It is SO GOOD... like a dessert in a cup. If you love espresso and coconut-flavored things, you'll love this. I also tried their Chicken Pesto Provolone cold handheld and it was so tasty! Love all the fresh veggies they put in the sandwich and the house made focaccia is yummy.

Our large group ate here yesterday. They were really busy… so service a bit slow. Perhaps all premade salads were sold out. The salad I got was fresh and adequate serving. It was priced well for the serving size. Others have said they are over priced, but I don’t think so. There is seating outside in front and in the back. They have 3 varieties unsweetened tea. Finally a healthier lunch alternative in Yuma. Others in the group had sandwiches which they liked also. The pastrami sandwich got good reviews. I think that once they streamline their operation, it is a guaranteed success. A staff person did come out and refill our tea glasses.
