Goombas & Family Pizzeria

The BEST pizza in all of Florida. Genuinely the only pizza I will eat in Ormond Beach. If you’re looking for a pizza that hits every mark (chewy thin crust, salty cheese, bright tomato sauce) this is it. Not to mention Lala is a shining light in the community who always puts a smile on your face. If you haven’t tried Goombas you’re missing out!

With what seems like a new locally-owned place shutting down weekly lately, we’ve been trying a new local place as often as possible. The food was wonderful and the people making it were even better. Spent maybe 20 minutes speaking with Lala, one of the owners and between her and their food, I think we’ve found our new local pizza place. Pizza was flavorful, crust was wonderful, not too crispy and not soggy. I’m not a pizza connoisseur and couldn’t tell you the difference between a jersey slice or nyc slice or whatever, but this is just great pizza. Antipasto salad was awesome and full of great ingredients. Will 100% done-in next time. Support locally owned restaurants, especially one with food this good.

My search for the best pizza in the area is over. Goombas was outstanding. I had the lunch, special two slices and a drink and my wife had a veal Parm sub. I ate one piece of pizza and half of her sub, the sub roll was light and crunchy and perfectly toasted! Our waitress Maia was so sweet and we met the owners La La and Rocco and they were also very nice. If you’re looking for a great casual pizza place, try it you won’t be disappointed.

I recently visited Goombas Restaurant for the first time, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the thoughtful accessibility features. I truly appreciated the fact that there were no stairs and the space was so easy to navigate. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such inclusivity, and Goombas nailed it! Now, let’s talk about the pizza – it was absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the flavors were incredible. Every bite was a delight. New pizza spot opened up. Pricing is reasonable, along with the portions you receive. The lady at the front counter is pretty helpful in helping with selections. Those garlic knots are a winner. The spaghetti with meat sauce was loaded with meat. They offer a sit-down area to dine in. Restrooms are available. Parking lot is on the smaller size. The main entrance is facing the street. Nice place to check out.
