Demetra (I hope I’m spelling that right) was SO very helpful. She assisted me in getting the document I needed, stayed on the phone and walked me through how to do it and even made sure I got the email I needed before we hung up. She answered the phone very fast and is certainly a blueprint for your office for customer service!

Staff is ridiculously lazy! They were all packed up and ready to go 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close! They even told us we would have to wait until tomorrow to sign documents! Very rude and unprofessional!

This is not a rapid testing facility -BUT they are professional and thorough. I had to take family members to get tested. Every where else had a waiting list 2 to 4 days long just to be tested. Your test results will be emailed or text messaged to you in 72 hrs. You must pre-register on DEHEC's website. Very fast and easy. They have a tent set up outside the building. You go up to the tent, show them the QR code (on your phone or printed out) from when you registered, they double check to make sure that your contact info is correct, you then wait in your car. We waited in our car till the lady came up, retrieved the people to be tested, and took them to the side of the building. This is unexpected. I have had such good experiences in the past with goose creek wic but now I'm getting no solid answers, was transferred many times and had to talk to multiple people without being told I'd have to talk with someone else. Maybe everyone in the same room? Who knows. The last person I talked to said she was not allowed or certified to give immunizations yet, could not tell me when either. They couldn't give me any health info I was looking for. And I got hung up on. I'm just trying to be healthy and not spend over $800 to $1400 of which I don't have. Very disappointing and I hope whatever this was, it doesn't happen to another single mother working everyday just to live(or anyone else who needs help)....

Amazing! After over a week of trying to get official immunization forms from Summerville Health Department, Goose Creek Health Department was able to do what I needed the same day! I needed certified copies of my two oldest son’s immunization records. After over a week of back and forth with the Summerville office & their claims of “it will be printed & ready tomorrow” they FINALLY tell me they cannot give me my oldest’s form until he has the Tdap. I needed the forms for homeschool. My son is in 6th grade and this is typically a requirement for entering 7th grade so I was caught off guard.
