Gopchang Story KBBQ - Centreville

Gopchang Story KBBQ in Centreville is hands down one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve been to. The quality of the meat—especially the gopchang and makchang—is unbelievably fresh, clean, and perfectly seasoned. Everything comes out sizzling hot with that deep, rich flavor you can only get from really well-prepared intestines. The servers were quick, friendly, and knew exactly when to help grill and when to give space, which made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. All the side dishes were fresh and constantly refilled, and the kimchi and sauces paired perfectly with the grilled meats. The atmosphere is lively without being too loud, and the whole place feels clean and well-maintained. Prices are fair for the quality you’re getting, and I walked out super full and super satisfied

First time here and definitely not my last!!!!! I absolutely love the KbbQ. Service was amazing and the food was so tasty. I loved the dips and the sides, I also loved that it’s open late!!! Brownie points, best in centreville. Most definitely recommend. I got both the option A+B menu and wish I could eat more but their portions very decent!

We absolutely love Gopchang Story! This has easily become our favorite Korean spot. The food is consistently delicious, full of flavor, and always hits the spot. The vibe here is really good, the servers are always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about their customers. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and we’ll keep coming back again!

Went around 12 AM after Valentine’s Day for a late night meal. Super busy but the servers and manager were super accommodating and even gave us the steamed egg on the house. First time I’ve had gopchang and it was amazing! Wish I lived closer so I could go back and try it again!

We stopped by around 9 PM on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded but had plenty of drunk people drinking up soju and talking really loudly, which was fine as it's a drinking place. Opted for beef brisket, galbi and bibim naengmyeon. My wife ordered the intestines which this place is known for. She really enjoyed it. The beef brisket was really good, I would get that again, but the galbi wasn't that good - meat was very fatty and not tender at all. I did like their bibimnaengmyeon though. The ventilation is not that good so you will leave here smelling like Korean BBQ. There are better Korean BBQ places in Centreville, but if you want to hang out with friends to drink soju and eat some Korean BBQ, then this place is for you.
