Gorditas y Tacos El Chilito Palmview TX

Bravo! I was recommended to eat here and I was totally surprised. The Barbacoa is the best I have had since arriving in South Texas. Friendly staff, bilingual, area clean and well kept, quick service. I will be back.

Wanted to like this place. Serving size was huge. But everything on the plate even the potatoes and carrots were...dry..dry..dry

This is my second time eating here, and I have to say the food is just as amazing as the first time! I ordered the gorditas again, and they were absolutely loaded with my favorite fillings full of flavor and so satisfying. I’ve tried gorditas at other places, but they’re usually skimpy and don’t have much taste. Here, you can really tell they take pride in what they make. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. Definitely recommend this place if you’re craving delicious, authentic food that actually fills you up!

Used to love eating here but then they started practically giving empty gorditas. We stopped going there after the second time they did this plus the food wasn't tasting as good anymore. Today I decided to give them another try worst mistake ever. My gorditas were with very little meat for $2.50 i expect to have atleast a decent amount of meat in the gordita to not have just abuncha masa pieces left over in the plate. Most of my gorditas came kinda empty just the one with egg came out good. We are definitely not returning which we hate cause we really liked this place.
