Gotta Getta Bagel

I ordered eight bagels for pickup to reward my staff, with a mix of flavors and cream cheese options: (4) Plain Bagels with Plain Cream Cheese (1)Sesame Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese (1) Everything Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese (1) Everything Bagel toasted with Scallion Cream Cheese (1) Plain Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese A total of (8) bagels What I received: (7) bagels, and the items were not as ordered. (6) Plain Bagels with Plain Cream Cheese (1) Sesame Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese Missing items and incorrect toasting/cream cheese requests from the original order. Since this was a pick up order and I work in LIC, I could not go back to the shop. I was in the area for a doctor’s appointment. Ordered 2 egg and cheese sandwiches and a tea. The people making the sandwiches were nice but the lady at the register was rude like many other reviewers have said. I told her my order in perfect English when I was trying to pay but she asked one of the workers what I ordered because “she couldn’t understand my English.” The food was mediocre. I live by utopia bagels, which is the gold standard but I went here because my doctor is close to this store. What a waste of $20 for mediocre food and a side of attitude and disrespect. My experience is in line with many other reviewers here. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Three stars because the hash browns were unbearable , freezer burn. Although the staff is very friendly and the owner seems very sweet. I got the sesame , Swiss, 2 eggs and pastrami and it was alright. Good price and fair service all together

This review is not about my recent experience, but about my overall experience after visiting for years. This place will take advantage of you, charge you whatever price they believe you can pay, and than shame you in front of a long line when you call them on it. I could believe it was an honest mistake the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time, but at this point I am making a fool out of myself for returning to this location again. This bagel store has pretty okay bagels, which is about its only high point.

Lots of good choices besides bagel - salads, paninis, SS wicked, bakery products which is nice. With plenty of fresh produce, prices are expected to be higher. Lots of cream cheese flavors. Bill doesn’t have product name listed which made harder to figure out the charges. Customer service was good. Good was tasty . Just wish the homeless guy doesn’t make the store area stink pee in order for patrons to sit out and enjoy.
