Grab & Go Subs

Great lunch spot, quick and friendly service and easy menu to choose from. They allowed for customization so I was able to build my preferred sandwich. The bread was soft and held together well, and the chip selection was great. Definitely a great quick stop lunch!

Grab & Go Subs is a hot spot in downtown San Diego off of C Street for lunch sandwiches. The weekday I went it was really busy but they have everything down to a science and provide friendly and efficient service. You order your food, pay and wait for your number to be called. I ordered a Meatball Sub on this day and, as you can see by my pic, it’s not super large in width but it is really tasty and the marinara is delicious. I only mark it down one star because I thought it was a little skimpy on the meatball size. I will try something different next time and report back. There is zero free parking in the area so walking or ride share is probably best.

A good sub is hard to find in San Diego, but this one hits the spot! Generous fillings, fresh ingredients, fast, super nice staff. Highly recommend!

Christian and Israel are the best! My favorite sub/coffee shop for a quick grab and go ... literally the name. Try their breakfast bagels, I get mine with cream cheese, avocado, and bacon. Or the hot pastrami sandwich! Must check it out.
