Grace Manor Bed and Breakfast

This was my very first time staying at a bed and breakfast, and I can truly say I chose the best! Grace Manor is an absolute gem in the heart of downtown York on West Market Street. From the moment I stepped into the French Suite, I felt like I had been whisked away to France — surrounded by exquisite chandeliers, elegant art, and stunning décor that exudes pure sophistication.||The atmosphere is peaceful, the rooms are spotless and beautifully designed, and the hospitality is truly unmatched. Breakfast was a divine experience—delicious, fresh, and served with such warmth that I felt right at home.||Grace Manor is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience filled with comfort, beauty, and charm. If you’re visiting York and want something truly special, skip the hotel and stay here.

This was nothing short of amazing. Cannot say enough good things about Grace Manor Bed and Breakfast. Joanne really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome and the room was Beautiful, Cozy, and Eloquently Designed. I stayed in the Mexican Room and everything was just amazing. This was a birthday trip and Joanne TRULY made me feel special and welcome from the food to the hospitality to the conversations we had it was just an experience that I will always hold with me. Hope to visit again soon. If you're in the area please stay at Grace Manor B&B as it definitely lives up to its name and then some.

This was our first time visiting the NE, and we came into town for a wedding. We wanted to stay someplace unique, instead of a corporate hotel, to be able to have a true York experience. Joanne and crew did not disappoint! She was so incredibly nice and hospitable. Her BnB is exactly the place we were looking for. Each themed room has its own floor along with a balcony in back, so we weren't on top of other guests- it felt very private. We stayed in the Mexican suite, and it was the perfect size for a couple, and very well decorated! She was so helpful to us, and provided us a long list of recommendations for things to do/eat in York. We followed her advice and had a great few days. We were met each morning with a lovely homecooked meal in the backyard- she truly made us feel like old frie

Joanne Wilmore, the host at Grace Manor, provided a bedroom suite with a comfortable queen bed. The stairwell and rooms are filled with art, some of it quirky but all interesting. I parked behind the building. Joanne, an institution in York, invites interesting people to join guests at breakfast to discuss local and national issues. She served kitchen-made hot breakfasts with dishes surely unavailable at a diner. I'm done with staying at chain hotels on the highway!!!

Our first stay in a bed and breakfast was wonderful. We stayed for two nights. The home (and our room/the Asian suite) was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our host and owner, Joanne was great. She was attentive, helpful and kind. She introduced us to some of York's historical and underrepresented gems (including awesome restaurants like Skillet2Plate). Breakfast was served in the courtyard, which served as an excellent backdrop for a delicious meal. I highly recommend this B&B for a weekend getaway with girlfriends or family. We will definitely be back!
