Graeter's Ice Cream

They can’t comprehend a peanut butter chocolate shake. I say “peanut butter chocolate shake made with chocolate ice cream and peanut butter topping”. Their mind stops listening after they hear peanut butter chocolate and just use some gross peanut butter cup ice cream with chocolate syrup. Are these people interviewed before being offered a job? This has happened 5 or 6 times. Only at this location.

Excellent ice cream, plain and simple. My favorite in the greater Dayton area, and excellent service to go with it! My favorite is their signature dish, the black raspberry chocolate chip, but truly you cannot go wrong. My friend got salted caramel and double chocolate chip which also was very good. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Highly recommend!

Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip was good! The texture was a bit softer than what I was expecting based on ice cream making process description on the website. Scoops were big. I’ve had Graeter’s at home for years but never had the opportunity to visit a scoop shop until a recent work trip to Dayton. I was here 3 days and ate at Graeter’s all 3 days. Just go. It’s amazing and the staff is wonderful.

Fantastic family ice cream shop! These shops have amazing flavors, are an Ohio original, and are almost a cultural phenomenon in Dayton and central Ohio! If you're passing through, please stop and try this place!
