GRC HALAL EATS

It took a minute to write this review as we had visited this gem of a place back in June. We were visiting GR for some work and decided to stop by for a quick bite at GRC based on the reviews. The food definitely didn't disappoint. These were hands down the best Philly cheese steaks we had ever tried. The beef steak is truly next level. It's thinly sliced unlike other cheesesteaks. The bread is freshly baked in house and is delicious. The cheese steaks come with fries and the portion size is quite generous which justifies the price. They also have a buffet as well as a dessert selection. We cannot wait to come back to this place and try the other items in the menu. There was no indoor seating last time we visited but that might have changed by now. Huge shoutout to the owner who made sure

Went here on my way home after not eating all day. The two employees were tremendously kind and gave me some of the best food I've had since moving to Grand Rapids. 100/10. Great flavor, great taste, great options. I got a philly and by the time I got home, it was still hot and the fries were still crispy & crunchy, I'm excited to try more on the menu in the future with my family. Appreciate yall!

We came out of state and let the person know it was our first time here. He told us the business was open about 5 months. We got the gyros and cheesesteak and they were amazing! He was super generous and kind and made us feel like we belonged there. Wanted to thank him if he sees this and hope you continue with your amazing business!

Chicken shawarma with rice tastes really good and feels authentic. I didn’t enjoy the lamb/beef shawarma as much. The falafel is okay, and the portions are big and filling. The Tabouleh salad is not really a Tabouleh! I just wish they had a place to sit and eat, since the prices feel more like a restaurant, but they’re only catering. Overall, it was a good Middle Eastern food experience.

This place is great. The food is amazing and very authentic. (Finally, a real Mediterranean restaurant). The owner is very hospitable and generous. And I can't say it enough, the food tastes really good and the portions are more than enough. I ended up buying so much food :) Highly recommend this place.
