Great American Cookies

The Owensboro GAC has done a wonderful job creating the custom cookies I’ve ordered for my family’s events for years. While most of us love our GAC cookies covered in icing, my daughter likes a nearly icing free cookie. Satisfying everyone is tough but the folks at the Owensboro GAC always pay attention to my special instructions about the amount of icing free cookie I need and what size scale I’d like the icing drawing to cover that makes their cookies a hit with everyone in my family by giving each of us what we love most in a slice of a GAC cookie cake. They even do a great job of creating a beautiful design from my words describing what I’m envisioning each time which is a sign of great talent. They never disappoint. Thank you GAC for keeping the celebration sweet and our mouths filled

Usually love going here to get double doozies. Went there and everything seemed fine, had a good amount of icing on there. Didn't realize until we paid and got back to our car that it was whipped icing instead of the usual buttercream. Employee did not notify us about this at all. Just wasted $16 for cookies we didnt want. To top it off too, 2 of the doozies we got were sitting in the case already with whipped icing. No telling how long they were sitting in there for.

Great work. Easy to order online. Pickup was quick and easy.

I ordered online for pick up, got home and ate a couple pieces from the bag, realized I was getting a lot of icing on my pieces, pull the whole thing out and it’s a pound of icing, I’ve been eating these my entire life and I’ve never seen nothing like this, it’s so much icing it looks like an icecream sandwich, idk what the workers were thinking when they made this but this is definitely food waste on their behalf & extremely excessive for a customer to be expected to consume.

Disappointed, drove a good distance to get here and at 7:40 people were inside and the doors were locked. The sign on the door says open till 8. Its Saturday night. If this was the case, you should at least have a sign on the door. Not workers walking around and not acknowledging you! Would've had alot of business. Others were coming in as well. Lost alot of business. Cold Stone Creamery right down the road had people lined out the door. I can see why! It was AMAZING.
