Greater Grinders Submarines

Had a wonderful time and experience all around. Stopped in to grab a quick bite for the wife and I, and I found a great spot. Between the folks working and the food being served I was extremely impressed. The walls are covered with local art which is rather welcoming.

The sandwich was terrific, though not better than most. I ordered the Super Greater Gtinder, which is their equivalent of an Italian sub. There was "spiced luncheon meat" in it-- not sure what that is but fairly confident it's a processed meat. The ham was the same. Good sandwich, but the cold cuts were second or third tier. The staff was super nice and helpful. The restaurant was extremely tidy. Go there and get some soup to go with your sandwich.

I wish I could say that my GreaterGrinder was good but it just wasn’t. I waited over 20mins with only a handful of customers so I saw reason for that wait. My sandwich had no taste, nothing just taste of meat and cheese, I expected maybe they have a flavor all their own, a sauce or an herb mix, salt or pepper maybe oil vinegar? Nothing, not even mayo. I don’t have the $ to eat out much, when I do get that opportunity to eat out I’m disappointed. Took My grinder home, added some flavor and ate it. I won’t be back, not worth that wait.

Ordered a half steak sub the sub was toasted with the tomato and lettuce on the sub we all know that lettuce and tomato release water! I had a toasted soggy steakum sub with a thin piece of steakum for 10bucks! Will not eat here ever again!!! But if you like bad food give it a try

Oh my childhood!!!!! Went in today and had what I used to have with my mom when she was still alive and was transported back in time!!!! The tuna sub was amazing per usual!!!! The ingredients were fresh!!! The restaurant was clean and smelled great!!!! This is the spot!!!!
