Greek Palace / Happy Chef Restaurant Group "Rancho Bernardo"

Food was great. It could be a bit bland for people who is very used to stronger flavor. But to me it was great. Very small area to sit down to eat though. We were a bit surprised that they did not provide water, but George (I think he is the owner of the place) was super nice and offer to just give us a few bottles of water (on the house). He mentioned that they used to just doing catering, so I guess we shouldn't expect a full restaurant experience (water, or heated patio) from them. But in general I enjoyed my food, and nice service so I still give 5 star.

This is mainly a catering business that just opened for retail a few months ago. The food is very delicious and the owner George is very nice. Picture is the gyro beef and lamb bowl.

I host a monthly poker game and decided to change things up on the food. Instead of ordering pizza again, I contacted the owner of the Greek Palace to put together a catering package for gyro sandwiches. The amount of food for what I paid was outstanding and definitely exceeded my expectations. The gyros at Greek Palace are always delicious and everyone welcomed the change. The owner is true gentleman and I will definitely be ordering for the poker game again in the future.

George does a great job and is eager to please, it’s a little hard to find now that he moved. The food is great with a large quality portion. George is involved with several restaurants and works really hard. I recommend you give it a try.

Mainly caters to the Comedy Palace not the restaurant. Poor, fragmented service, 4 different wait personnel, long wait times in between service, no follow through, had to ask for check. Weak Cosmo martini drinks though $11 a piece. Hey, I can buy a whole bottle of vodka for that price, dont be chintzy on the alcohol! 😉 Food was pretty good, had 2 apps, 2 salads and dessert. Met owner and he was very nice, interesting to talk to but it was what it was.
