Green Beans Coffee - Portsmouth Naval Hospital NEX

Today, 23 July, at about 15:45, I went to grab a coffee before they closed. A woman with brightly dyed red hair was leaning on the counter & yelling loudly to her phone (at her husband... I won't say his name here as he obviously has other things to worry about) over some personal marital squabble. I waited for her to leave because it was such an uncomfortable & overwhelming situation since she was so loud, angry, & aggressive. As it turns out she seems to be an employee here at Green Beans Coffee. Her co-worker acted as if it was all very commonplace. The entire experience was unappetizing as well as depressing. I never got the coffee & I think I'm probably glad.

Service was rushed and not much thought. Women spoke over one another behind the counter which meant they did not hear me, or each other. Ordered two simple coffees and it was burnt tasting and awful. Not to mention they didn't add the condiments behind the counter so social distancing was completely out. I wish I saved my 5 bucks. Complete waste.

The blending of the ice and coffee was on point. Not too much, not too little. As I was drinking the coffee through a straw I could feel the small pieces of ice.

This place pretty much sucks.
