Green Chile House

Holy hot Chile!! I'm in heaven, I moved here recently from Albuquerque and I have been missing green chile!! Because the green chile/Chile Verde in Utah is not the same and is weird lol. But the chile is exactly as it is in New Mexico, you should sell it as a stew as well 😋 I could have just the chile by itself lolol. By the way, the server on one of these pictures is fantastic!! This kid is on it, I come out of restaurants and if I had a restaurant here I would steal him from you lmfao! Ohh, the green chile strips, heavenly!!

The food is phenomenal... I ordered the green chili cheese burger and it was the best ever! It is so delicious. The fries that came wth it were so yummy too. And we also got free sopapillas the was very yummy... I can't say enough good things about the food here. The service was great. They were fast and just all around great! The place in general was very boring. There's nothing on the walls like no pictures or anything like that. It's just really plain and boring. This is a must try place..

At first I judged a book by it's cover. The place is pretty bland with no photos or decorations. The chips and sauce (wasn't salsa) was gross and didn't eat it. The one worker I interacted with was friendly and the place was very clean. Then the main dish came out and it was amazing! The burrito was full of flavor and the pico made it so much better. It is pretty expensive, might not visit very frequently. For 3 adults, it cost $70 and we all got the same thing. I forgot to take a picture of the burrito and remembered when I finished devouring it 😅

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was a friendly lady cooking in the kitchen, but nobody else to greet us in the dining area. We were a little skeptical because they had Guy Fieri's face plastered all over the restaurant. Apparently he had visited at some point. Once a guy in a cowboy hat finally came out to the register he wasn't very helpful. Put one menu on our table and told us to come up to the register when we were ready. We shared the menu and then went up and placed our orders. But, the food arrived fast and was amazing! They do use a bunch of canned stuff for sides and sauces, but the main dishes were done well. Green chile tacos are delicious, this time i tried birria! So disappointed! But green chili sauce is really good. Chips and salsas are really good as well, just go for the classic pork(carnitas) green chili tacos and you will love it!!
