Don't judge this place just for its beers. Their food is top notch, always great music upstairs and often GREAT live bands on the weekends. A must try if you are in Montgomery County looking for a great lunch, dinner and night out.

Cozy brew pub in a historic building in Old Town Gaithersburg. Parking in back and in near by garage. Bar food creativity reimagined. Nice entre selection. Grilled asparagus side was surprisingly good. Open for lunch and dinner until 10:30 week nights and 11:30 on weekends.

So it's called Greene Growler's now, as they have new ownership. The place is still the same way it was before the shake-up. Good beer, with good food to back it up. They have yet to get their brewery up and running as they've just got the proper licensing to begin doing so. I wholeheartedly believe once this is back I'll change my review to 5. The magic of this place is that it's almost a staple of Old Town Gaithersburg's charisma. I grew up seeing this place on a weekly basis. I'm always running into old friends when I come here. I'm always making new friends when I go there. It helps provide to the allure and nostalgia of the building. Appeals to the sense of pride you have in where you come from.
