Greer's Fairhope Market

Greer’s Fairhope Market is a cozy, locally loved grocery store that brings a personal touch to everyday shopping. Nestled in downtown Fairhope with plenty of walking around things to do, this store is perfectly located. Very nicely kept store. Clean and organized. A young gentleman named Samuel helped us and couldn't have been nicer or friendlier. Great experience with service, except 1 area. The ladies in the deli area were not the friendliest. We actually felt like we were a bother instead of a customer so we won't be getting deli to go anymore. Great wine selection, see pics, and well stocked aisles and displays throughout. You can get propane and plenty of ice on hand. This is about the cleanest and most organized Greer's I've shopped. One thing I didn't understand was the time limit on parking. Sometimes it can take longer than 45 minutes if you're shopping big.

Very good wine section, and a separate off- licence for hard liquor.

Bottomless cup reviewer here. Little known fact. As long as you sit inside the cafe area in the morning you get a bottomless cup of coffee. No you can't take it outside to the seating area and smoke but the bottomless cup exists. You have to catch it right though timing is everything. They stop serving coffee at a certain hour. But the soda fountain is the same and is open longer.

The ONLY grocery store inside the downtown area. I just hate that they don't ensure parking is for shoppers. A bunch of hoity-toity up-tight bougie tarts too lazy to find a parking place elsewhere take up parking places here just to run across the street to the dance studio. Try walking a block instead of blocking parking for a grocery store. People have buggies and stuff and need to load up. All you're loading is your ego and entitled kids so move your Lexus or beamers on down the block. Check out this darling red car taking up two parking spots. What a dummy.
