Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen {Sugar Land}

It was my first time at this location and the service was outstanding. Layla was our server and she always checked on us with a positive attitude. Our orders came out exactly as we wanted. The drinks were great and food was delicious. I ordered the fish tacos and the serving size was perfect. The fish was not skimped out at all and fresh. I will definitely come back and make sure Layla is your server.

Halloween 2025 at Gringo’s Sugar Land was such a treat! They offered free meals for kids in costume, which made the night extra special. Our server, Andreas, was absolutely on point — friendly, attentive, and professional. He asked if we were Tex Mex Insiders (their loyalty program), suggested appetizers without being pushy, and nailed our order perfectly. Our chip basket stayed full, our water glasses never went empty, and he treated me and my son like VIPs — even though we were probably his smallest check of the night. Armando, the manager, checked on us several times and clearly leads by example. You can feel the strong team culture he’s built. Excellent service and food! The restaurant was pretty with all the mix of decoration and it was very clean. Gringo's is a "must try" for some good Tex-Med Food - the chips and salsa are perfection too, it's hard to make yourself stop eating them!

I truly loved the atmosphere here! The wait staff was amazing!! Even the manager comes by to check on you!! The food was fresh and delicious.
