Customer Reviews
Grossman’s has become a downtown Santa Rosa institution and a must-stop in Wine Country. I almost hesitated to add another review because the place is already plenty popular. We sat at the bar and started with Bloody Marys that were practically a meal in themselves: perfectly spiced and topped with house pickles, pickled cauliflower (surprisingly delicious), pickled onion, and a briny olive that tied it all together. Alicia ordered the Brooklyn Bagel Sandwich (no tomatoes, of course), layered with house-made lox, cream cheese, capers, dill, cucumber, and onion on a sesame Grossman’s Bread bagel. It’s a game changer. The chew and structure elevate every bite. The fruit and crumble side added a fresh, lightly sweet counterpoint. I went with Bubbie’s Breakfast Sandwich: cheesy scrambled eg
I had a fantastic lunch here. I had the patty melt with pastrami and recommend it highly. It was very rich and greasy but I loved every bite. I also grabbed a couple of black and white cookies which I saved for later. These are a little different than others I've had in the past but still excellent.
Maybe it was because I got a chopped liver sandwich, but I couldn’t finish it lol my partner also got the pastrami sandwich but the bread wasn’t toasted and it was just your typical pastrami sandwich. Pretty pricey for sandwiches and no sides. The fries were really good though - thin and good crisp and seasoned. My cocktail was also yummy! They infuse their own vodka. Overall, I’d go for the drinks but not just for a casual lunch - was expensive for food that was nothing extraordinary.
Best Jewish food I've ever had. Worth a trip to Santa Rosa just to eat here! We liked it so much that we came back for brunch the next morning 🤗 The dumplings and the babka french toast are out of this world.
Have eaten here twice now and was very impressed. Once we ate outside and once inside. Both were comfortable. The service was exceptionally friendly and patient with special orders. The food was top notch, I really recommend the lamb & gruyere "dip" sandwich. The Asian chicken salad was also very good. The big bowl of soup was excellent. Will return!!!!
