GU Ramen Taps & Tapas

GREAT food! Some of the best ramen I've had. Vegetarian and vegan options - if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions definitely let them know when you're ordering so they can accommodate. One of the included ramen toppings is narutomaki (fish cake) even if you get the vegetarian/vegan broth; so if you tell them what you can/can't have when you order they can relay it to the kitchen :) . The service is great and everyone is friendly and happy to help! It's a busy, cute, place but the bar seating is comfortable and they are quick to get you taken care of. Shoutout to their yummy matcha ice cream cone as well <3

The wings are amazing! A must have when going here. Everything was great honestly. The broth on the ramen was incredible. The tempura was perfect on the shrimp. Such a cool low key spot. Amazing vibes. One of my favorite spots now.

Great place just by the road and near to the viewpoint for the beach. The food also tasted very good and was easy to order - they are able to accommodate your request as much as possible. Would definitely be back.

I'm a big fan of Asian food and it was my first time spending the day in Laguna Beach. It was a short walk from the beach, maybe 20 minutes and service was good and staff were friendly. We ordered 2 Ramen bowls with egg topping and made it a combo. I would say broth wasn't bad and portions were good. The egg isn't a soy sauce egg so if you are into that, then you may be disappointed. The rice bowl was good but you can say it's an acquired taste if you aren't into pickled veggies. Definitely recommend to someone if they're looking for a good quick fix and can't decide on what to eat but if you're looking for a more premium Ramen taste, this isn't it. 4 stars from me but I would be open to going again.

I just have to say I grew up in Laguna and this has been a staple for me. The issue is I moved to NorCal 4 years ago and nothing has compared to this ramen. I crave gu ramen every single week and have considered moving back to be in close distance to this place. I love Gu ramen and if it was my last meal on earth I would die happy and full of fried rice and ramen.
