Guapo’s GO, Taqueria & Charcoal Chicken

Came in a month ago but forgot to write a review. I just remembered to write one when I was reminiscing on how good the guacamole was. we got guacamole with chips and each got our own burrito platter. Our food was incredibly flavorful and came out in a timely manner, I wish to come back soon.

Haven’t been to a guapos in ages. It was good years ago when I had it at another location but this place is horrid. They charge extra for staple sides like yucca and fried rice. Yucca looked like tater wedges and not very good. Rice has odd taste to it and not your regular Peruvian style fried rice. Worse is the chicken. They left the rope on my half chicken and it was greasy and slimy. Didn’t taste good at all. Green sauce has odd taste to it as well. Will not return..

It gets nice and busy here during lunch time! The quality of meat and food is high and they put effort into the plating. The meat was so crispy.

Been eating at this Gaupo’s for over 15 years. The staff and service are SO NICE always going out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is equally as delicious! There is no better fried yucca in the DC area, the chicken falls off the bone and their guacamole is always fresh! We also celebrated my son’s birthday with 10 of his friends and the staff were amazing! They moved tables around to seat us all together, and made sure the boys all stuffed their faces and had a great time! They even went out of their way to get a candle to put in a cake…best Guapo’s team ever with awesome food across the board!

I love this place so much I come back all the time. the food is soooooo good and delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I LOVE YOU GUAPOS HERNDON!!
