Gui Gui 9292 Korean BBQ (AYCE) - Rowland Heights

Gui Gui has a 32 item AYCE lunch special 7 days a week from 11:30am-4pm for only $22.99! It includes several meats and sides from their self-serve buffet, and premium brisket and beef & pork belly you order from your server. We upgraded so we could try their premium ribs and ribeye steak, and it was such a treat. Their marinade was really tasty, and you can even order kimchi fried rice that comes on a hot sizzling skillet as a side. They even have ramen now too, but we were too full from all the meat 🤭 We're really impressed by how attentive the servers are here too. They changed our grill frequently and they kept the self-serve area well stocked and clean no matter how busy it got.

It is a fantastic value if you are looking for a "cheap eat" that still hits all the high notes of a great KBBQ spot. The lunch tier has a more limited meat selection, but it’s essentially a "greatest hits" list of the popular cuts you’d expect. You can ask the server for the brisket and thinly sliced beef or pork, while the marinated beef, pork, and chicken are all in the self-serve section. They also have a solid spread of appetizers at the buffet, including crabmeat sushi, fish cake, Korean glass noodles, rice, and soup, along with extra sauces on the side. I’ve been to the La Habra location and it’s nice to know that the Rowland Heights location is just as yummy and has the same amazing deals like their lunch specials at $22.99. I do really enjoy that I can instantly eat because the marinated meats are the meat buffet . So no waiting involved except for the grill to be heated!!! There are over 7 different types of proteins at the meat bar and other set menu of items you can order with your server like beef belly and brisket or thin sliced pork belly. Their higher priced sets include LA Galbi, Seafood, Steamed Egg and so much more. I love how I can end my meal with a JIN RAMEN . If you never had Ramen at the end, you need to. It’s 10/10!

We found Gui Gui when we did a search for an AYCE KBB in the area. We liked that the place was really clean and the staff is on top of everything making sure we had everything we needed. They have 3 different options and all have great meats included. I liked that they had a meat bar area where we could walk up and grab it ourselves. Sometimes we want more or less of an item so this made it easier for us to get what we wanted. If there was a meat not available at the bar, we could press the button at our table and the server would come right over. There are many side items that we enjoyed like the gyosa, glass noodles and rice. They also had jalapeños and onion which is always something we look for to throw on the grill.
