Gumba's Italian Restaurant

Solid New York style pizzeria. Sizes are 10", 12", 14", 16", 18"and they make their own dough and marinara. Buffalo wings were really good as well. Service was stellar and attentive. Lots of outdoor dining seating for good weather.

We had favourite gelato Italian icecream, so delicious, tri coloured and tasty with 3 delicious flavours of pistachio, strawberry and chocolate with chocolate covering, Nicely served. Can improve tidyness in presentation of kitchen which is customer friendly. Quick service after correct communication and friendly gestures were admirable.

The homemade clamchowder got my attention since it's flavorful and rich without being salty. The lenguine pasta and the combo pizza has good portions and generous toppings. Overall, the very good food and the friendly staff made me open my phone to give this restaurant a 5-star review.

Gumba's Italian Restaurant is located at the very walkable town center of Sunnyvale. Super! In summer evenings, they spread out on the walkable street. Nice! There was a saxophonist playing right across. Sweet! I have no compliant about food. (Deserts are better than main dish and appetizer in my opinion.) This would make an enjoyable dining experience if not for the lousy service. When we arrived around 5:45pm on a Friday evening, there was barely any diner. The waiter was quick to take order. But after food came, they didn't come to take out used plates. With the extremely tiny round table and two empty apetizer dishes, we could barely eat main dishes normally.
