Customer Reviews
Nice lil family owned type business. Fried fish and shrimp were great. I also ordered gumbo, it wasn't bad just not to my liking. Second time here...would go again for the fried seafood. I forgot...I also had cheese sticks but the marinara was horrible and the cheese sticks were flaky like...can't really explain the texture! Lol...wouldn't get then again!
I decided on the "Swamper" or pick 3 and chose (clockwise from top) red beans & rice, crawfish etoufee, and seafood gumbo. - Red beans and rice fantastic - Crawfish etoufee was good, nice spice/flavor, not a lot of crawfish - seafood gumbo was DELICIOUS, excellent flavor profile. Will certainly come back to try the specials! Cashier/waitress very polite and helpful.
I came with a group at work. We got to seat together. I had the chicken fried steak lunch special. It was really good. The portion is hige. Food came quick. The smoke from the kitchen was really strong though.
I found it!!!! I finally found the best Cajun food is this area!!! The fried catfish is so crispy and the batter is full of flavor…. We tasted many dishes and were impressed with them all!
Got the chicken and spaghetti special today as well as the catfish and freedom fries. I don't think they're called freedom fried here but they were crispy on the outside and nice and decently soft potato on the inside with tasty flavor and good amount of salt on them. The chicken and spaghetti, along with 2 pieces of I think garlic butter toast, was tasty and filling. You get a good amount for 10 bucks and the chicken is shredded mixed into the pasta. The pasts being I believe a Cajun seasoned pasta (pic below). Along with the delicious coke I could not finish the whole plate. I mightve been able to but then I'd get the itis and I needed to go back to work. The catfish was also yummy and crispy. I didn't like the tarter sauce the catfish came with as it had a horseradish taste to it and
