Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

Chicken was good and spicy 🔥🥵. Couple caveats. Chicken is prepared at the moment so it will take it's time so don't come here if you're in a hurry, I would say around 20 mins but the chicken is hot and fresh so it's worth the wait. Refill and souvenir cup, I always get the lemonade 🍋. I got 3 piece but it was a bit too much for me even though I was super hungry after the wait so next time I would get only two pieces, tenders are a great option as it has the same spice but on a chicken breast portion. Chicken is spicy even for me 🇲🇽 but I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Visiting a family member and we stop here to have lunch. The chicken is delicious, the mac&cheese was amazing. The service was excellent, they were kind and friendly.

The chicken here is simply unbelievable, perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served piping hot with that signature flavor that keeps you coming back. Every bite tastes fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. The chicken thighs, legs, and tenders are all spot on, and you really can’t go wrong. The sides are solid, but the chicken easily steals the show. The fried green tomatoes and fried okra are excellent choices, and the baked beans are fine, classic, and simple. Got the two piece platter. Finally, real fried chicken. Would have preferred a side item option without the uncharged. I heard many rave about the Mac and cheese. It was alright. The cole slaw was amazing. Chicken? Cooked all the wat through but still tender! Service was amazing. Extremely welcoming and friendly to ALL the customers. I'll be back!

I visited for the first time today and I was NOT disappointed. Derek our server was so kind, knowledgeable and attentive. It's been a long time since I've experienced that level of service. It felt like instant family. The food was hot and delicious. I had the 4 Wing special. The chicken was so well seasoned. I couldn't stop eating it. I'm not sure of everyone's title that worked there, but they came over to check on us and we had great conversations. The food was amazing and service was even better. Im excited to return. The one thing I will add though is that my young daughter had chicken tenders and she said they were too spicy. I should've asked if they would have the spicy seasoning as well.
