This place has the looks of a great food spot but the actual food doesnt live up to that expectation. We went in 1/30/26 at 5pm, we ordered the carne en su jugo and the camarones a la cucharacha as well as a michelada. The carne en su jugo was decently flavored but the beans to meat ratio was off. Barely enough beans. The camarones a la cucaracha were a bad experience, the cook is supposed to be crispy and marinade is supposed to be spicy, neither of which were true. Also serving the shrimp with the head on and not deveined would have been nice to know before hand. The michelada was heavy on the juice and not so much the beer, not my preference but a decent michelada. As someone who was born and raised in Guadalajara, this is the only place where I can actually taste what a “torta ahogada” and “carne en su jugo” should taste like 💕 We have also tried: -Queso fundido con chorizo -Tostada de ceviche -Tacos de carnitas -Café de olla And everything is bomb! 💣 Thank you guys!

My husband and I attended the grand opening/ribbon cutting this past Saturday. While the initial wait was substantial—a predictable hurdle for any highly anticipated new establishment—it was, without a doubt, incredibly worthwhile. I ordered the Camarones en Mantequilla and a Michelada with mineral water. The dish was a perfect balance of buttery richness and savoriness. The michelada had such an amazing flavor! My husband ordered the Aguachiles Verdes, which had an amazing flavor profile! We left excited for this new venture for this family owned restaurant and certain that their operations will only refine with time!

First-time visit and absolutely worth it! The food was authentic, flavorful, and consistently delicious every dish we ordered hit, Portions were very generous. The michelada alone is worth the stop! perfectly balanced and refreshing. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and an experience that makes this easy to recommend. This is an awesome family owned restaurant! The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. Their specialties are authentic Mexican seafood dishes, and the ceviche is the very best I've ever had! The restaurant is new, and I absolutely recommend everyone tries out to see for yourselves.
