Gwinnett County Public Library - Snellville Branch

As a local business owner that works from home, but not at home, the Snellville Library is a fantastic resource with a friendly and knowledgeable staff that love to help you . Kathy was a pleasure to talk with this morning. When I need a quiet place to work in between client meetings and need one of their 30 computer workstations for computer/online internet access (and in-expensive printing and copying) it’s my first choice in the S’ville area. Their open hours are great were you have access before they open starting at 8 AM and after they close to 10:00. You just need a library card to extend their hours to meet your schedule. Need a private study room /small conference room for meetings or group work, you can check out a room for two hours. I know they have at least 4 rooms. And ye

My sister and I have visited several Gwinnett County public library locations but the Snellville branch is our favorite, so far!!! During our September 11, 2025, visit a friendly, helpful and knowledgrable librarian named Kathy assisted me by researching an author I'd been listening to on an audio book. I couldn't quite make out the name of the author being referenced, so I asked her to take a listen. To my surprise and astonishment, she was able to decipher the name for me. She also took the time to cross reference the author I was listening to with similar authors, helping me locate additional titles available for check out. The original library branch off of Lenora Church Road closed down few months ago & has moved at Wisteria Drive. Had the chance to see the library, which has been open for about three weeks now. The library is fairly large with a ton of glass windows, even the rooms reserved for study areas, social media, & classrooms are divided with glass, making the library seem spacious and open. There’s three levels but the first floor is only what’s available for the public. It’s very nice & staff are very helpful.

This Library is beautiful and the librarian was very helpful! Convenient spaces all over for reading/studying. 📖 My 4 year old was very excited to check out the kids area. There were a lot of books, computers, tablets, and audio books! We will definitely be back! 💻 The vending machine at the entrance was the only thing that stood out like a sore thumb. Maybe they need a new vendor? 🙄 As long as you bring your own snacks or water, you'll be able to spend hours here! Thanks Gwinett! ❤️

Ms Kathy and Ari lead the children’s early learning and toddler time activities. The program at the Snellville branch is one of, if not, the best toddler program in the county! The class is always lively, fun, and engaging. Children actually get to be children at the Snellville branch.
