Gyro Republic

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Gyro Republic, and this review is to honestly share what happened. I ordered a chicken over rice and clearly informed the employee that I have GERD and cannot tolerate spicy food at all. I specifically asked them multiple times not to add any spicy chicken, rice, or anything that could be spicy. The employee assured me that the chicken was not spicy. Before receiving the food, I paid via Apple Pay, and at first, the employee did not want to give me the receipt. I had to repeatedly ask before they finally handed it to me. I sat inside the restaurant to eat, and after just a few bites, I immediately realized the chicken was very spicy. I went back to the counter and informed the employee. She refused to accept it and even asked

Love the food here. So much flavor, good portions for the price. The staff is very attentive and welcoming and the place is always neat.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered food to-go, and when I got home and started eating, I bit into a metal screw that was inside my food. This is extremely unsafe and completely unacceptable. I immediately contacted the manager to report what happened, but she never responded to me at all. The lack of concern or follow-up made the situation even worse. I will not be returning, and I hope they take this seriously and improve their food safety and customer service.

Stephanie was extremely helpful towards us immediately upon arrival. It was very welcoming & I’m highly appreciative of her service, we’ll definitely be back!

the food was amazing and our server Luis S. Was so nice and hospitable! Top of the line customer service! Explained all the options even when it came to the drinks! 10/10 will come here again!
