Gyro Republic

First and foremost - large, deliciois portions are served here. My wife and I stopped in on our way back to Sout Texas since we like Gyro sandwiches. This restaurant switches it up with gyro bowls with different bases and proteins. Outstanding. I've had falafel at many places, but the falafel here is my favorite. They make them fresh and the flavor is par none. Worth a try - you will like it. The pita chips are also made fresh, so they take a minute to cook. They are worth it. Crispy and soft at the same time - not like stale chips at other locations I've had before. Haha. It was a really nice juxtaposition of crisp and soft. Great hummus, also. My wife enjoyed the spicy chicken gyro sandwich. Great staff, polite and helpful with selections.

Went here in evening around 7pm on Feb 25th to Gyro Republic store in HEB complex near Sugarland.. I’m very disappointed with my recent visit to Gyro Republic. The customer service was extremely poor — the lady at the counter seemed very hesitant and unwelcoming throughout the entire order process. The food quality was even worse. The bowl was served cold, and the portions were unacceptable. She was literally splattering the food into the bowl with barely any meat included. For $14, I expected a decent portion and at least warm, fresh food. Overall, very poor experience for the price charged. Definitely not worth it. I hope the owner takes customer service and food quality more seriously moving forward. Not going to this location anymore and i want manager to read this and call me back

I wanted to review this place because I received the best customer service from this place today. I wanted eat this today but I have physical mobility issues currently I deal with so I didn't see they had a drive thru or curbside pickup available but I decided to call and ask. I spoke to Dominique and she stated they don't have curbside but she would be willing to make that happen if wanted to place an order. So I placed the order through the app and called as soon as I arrived like she directed. And within minutes she came out and handed me the food. She's a good employee and she deserves a raise. She's a good asset to the restaurant. Thank you Dominique for making my day today. Very grateful for your kindness.

We ordered a Gyro for an early lunch. You'd figure that if the place just opened for the day (Saturday), it would be fresh. Nope. The meat was overcooked, dry, and cold. I guess it was left out overnight. Essentially jerky on pita bread. Yeah, the pita bread wasn't fresh either. I've eaten at other locations but this one was terrible.
