Gyros on Alki

We recently visited this place. Inside, the atmosphere is pleasant — cozy enough to sit down and enjoy a meal. However, when it comes to the food, I personally didn’t order anything because I had no appetite, but my husband and our friends did. They ordered two beef gyros and some fries. The fries were fine, but the beef gyros were honestly terrible. Let me explain why. I have very high standards for food — I am from another country, I’ve been to Greece, and I know what real gyros taste like. What they serve here as “beef” is a joke — it’s like some strange mix between a patty and a sausage, completely flavorless and unpleasant. My husband, who usually loves to eat, couldn’t even finish it simply because it was that bad. The tzatziki sauce also could have been fresher, brighter, and tasti

What can I say, other than this is the best falafel I’ve ever had. Huge portions, tons of fresh toppings — and amazing cook on the fries. All around excellent meal that’s more than worth a stop — and many return visits! Thank you to both owners for all your hard work — and treating every customer so well. You truly are inspiring and an important part of Alki! 🙏

This is a small, cozy family restaurant known for its warm ambiance and friendly owners who always keep the place spotless. Their gyro is exceptional, featuring freshly grilled meat with flavorful toppings, and the generous portions satisfy even the heartiest appetites. I particularly enjoyed sitting by the window, watching the lively scene at Alki Beach with views of the ocean, which added to the relaxing experience.

The best breakfast with unmatched hospitality!!! I didn’t realize they opened at 8am and they still took my order (breakfast burrito in pita bread with feta and peppers) before. Plus they have amazing homemade hot sauce! I can’t recommend them enough!
