Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

Delicious! This is quite the popular place but despite being so busy, we were served very well and in a timely manner. Great experience for groups and date night. Definitely worth a come back!

We ordered the shrimp and tofu small plates, miso soup with spicy jalapeño paste, butter corn and vegetable bibimbap, sake, and the red bean dessert — and every single dish was incredible. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. The whole experience exceeded expectations and made our celebration truly special.

Gyu-Kaku was my first Japanese BBQ and my first experience cooking for myself at a restaurant, and it was overall an excellent experience! The meats all tasted premium, and all the sides were even better than expected. The staff was very helpful in instructing you how each thing should be cooked and were generally very friendly. The atmosphere itself was a nice vibe, too. Chill, comfortable, friendly. A great spot for lunch or dinner with friends and family!

Gyu-Kaku White Plains offers one of the best dining experiences in Westchester, especially if you're a fan of grilling your own food at the table. I highly recommend the All You Can Eat option — it's a fantastic deal considering the quality and variety of meats and sides included. The premium menu features cuts like Harami Skirt Steak, Kalbi Short Rib, Pork Belly, shrimp, and more, all marinated to perfection or served plain for purists. The seafood options and veggies round it out nicely, and the included appetizers are restaurant-quality on their own. You have 90 minutes to order, but the pacing was perfect, and the staff made sure we always had something on the grill. On top of that, the Happy Hour deals are unbeatable. Great experience! The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our online reservation was canceled due to a glitch. Even though it was a busy Friday night they managed to squeeze us in and give us phenomenal service! The food and drinks were great! They have an excellent selection of food and high quality meats. Good selection of vegetarian options for a BBQ place. The Beyond Bibimbap was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
