H-E-B Bakery

Ordered a custom vanilla buttercream cake, paid about $65 and it was dry. I ordered a theme and it just had the picture on top with with no little figures or sprinkles or decorations, I had to pay extra for the sides to be custom and the sides were nice but drooping. I also ordered a custom vanilla cupcake cake with buttercream frosting, they were also dry and with globs and globs of frosting all over and in between that it was a huge mess instead of enjoying easy to pull apart cupcakes. The edges were also just staggered and not straight. Never again

Horrible experience tonight with the evening manager David!!! I will never return and will be letting my friends and family know they need to go somewhere else! I did my research looking for a product I needed, called around to the different H-E-B in the area and found the product at this store that there was 2 pallets in stock so not a shortage of product. I get to the store and in the process of purchasing a pallet this manager David stops the frond end people and says that he won’t sell it.... wait what?! No shortage on the product, the pallet is of 12 packs of coke and there’s no policy, signs or anything about not being able to buy something we need if it’s In stock. I’m trying to figure out and speak to David about his reasoning and has none, he kept repeating that it was up to him

I decided to purchase our cake here, for our 3yr old...only to be treated with disrespect with a female by the name of Michelle...when we asked if she could put "Happy Birthday" on the cake of choice she got it from my hands, almost dropping it and she rolled her eyes. From the very beginning she had a conniption attitude...we went there for a cake and that's it! Wasn't expecting for any unprofessionalism from that HEB worker (bakery dept)...last time I'll go to that HEB!

For been such a huge store more elaborate pastries should be offered. All these big chains lack innovation and realvariety. What is lacked in this they over expert it on their high prices. Customer service needs huge improvement.

Went for groceries ended up buying fresh lemonade and nachos with jalapenos great service and really good snacks.
