This is the H-E-B bakery. It is the bakery section of the grocery store, not a sit down, bakery with tables and places to eat. As a grocery store bakery it’s reasonably good, but if you’re looking for something fancy, find a dedicated bakery.
My daughter did Favor in the area the other day and pick up a piece of carrot cake for me and it’s amazing. Has carrots of course nuts like pecans or walnuts reg. raisins & gold raisins, coconut flakes, so good and moist. I split it with my husband unfortunately LOL as I post this review he’s trying to dip into my piece lol he just asked me which H‑E‑B was this as we live in Creedmoor Tx complete opposite side of Austin (SE of Austin) he’s like this is good
So just came by this H-E-B in regards to my wedding cake. Sandra was super helpful and really knowledgeable. Don’t mess with all the overpriced cakes. Come here, and get a cake that you will be proud to serve at the wedding!
Good selection- deli makes a lot of trays too, chicken salad sandwiches are really good, affordable sheet cakes
