Yesterday, my husband picked up a tiered graduation cake that slowly slumped, cracked, and fell apart at our indoor party. The base cake crumbled in the back, causing a domino effect of destruction. We had to prop up the cake with folded plates as a stint in the back for the pictures. It was extremely unfortunate that it wasn’t structurally sound because it tasted delicious. I’m giving this review 5 stars not because I like crumbling cake, but because I appreciate how understanding the manager handled this situation when my husband went back with the pictures and story of our experience. When a manager apologizes, promises to do better, offers a remedy, and still asks for your consideration in future business, that says that you are not only heard but also valued as a customer. All HEBs are godsent but the 10th/Trenton HEB is probably the best one I've ever shopped at! Always in and out with very little wait time.

Got some hand dipped gourmet strawberries from the bakery and they were moldy and tasted horrible never buying strawberries from there again👎🏼
