Habaneros Mexican Grill

I've been coming to this place for years and have enjoyed being greeted by the same smiling and familiar faces all this time. I can tell this is a family oriented restaurant, and it is important to me to support local businesses. The food is good and consistent, the service is always excellent, and for your mom & pop mexican food - this place takes the cake. I get the same thing every time now that I stumbled upon my favorite meal, but I've tried out so many different things on their menu and have never been disappointed. If you want the best torta (have yet to eat one that compares) - get the Mexican Cubana. Unbeatable.

I've reviewed over one hundred places and it's not often, especially as a first time customer, that a single location can get 5⭐ rating. Certainly if ratings are done, good or bad, a reasonable explanation is in order as to how a place achieves their rating. Not it was good or bad and that's it. Readers want to see the why's. My wife and I are new residents to Joplin. I've lived in Missouri for 34 years. Transplant from Edmond to Mt. Vernon MO. Moved to Joplin in April of this year. My husband and I love coming here.The staff here are so sweet and the food is amazing. We always get the sampler plate for appetizer and change up our meals each time. I also love the music they play. Such a vibe .

Came by for a late dinner and thankfully they were still opened. Generous portions, particularly loved the ACP with Chorizo as well as the burrito el puerto. Salsa was on point too. Very friendly service staff, couldn’t have asked for more!

Food so good i ate it in 9 minutes, and service was beyond good
