Habaneros Mexican Grill

This was definitely the best Mexican food we had on our trip. So good!!! We went in the late afternoon and were one of the few people there. The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I love the spice that’s in each dish. Highly recommend the salsa trio. The creamy green dip was our favorite. I got the lobster taco and the mahi mahi taco. Both of them were delicious. If we had time, we would go back in a heartbeat!

Great food and service! My picky eater son makes us drive 30 minutes out of our way to dine here and it’s worth it every time. We had the carne asada burrito, carnitas tacos, chicken fajitas, chips and you get 3 salsas with that, mild, medium and avocado salsa (our favorite) and horchata. All very delicious. Highly recommend.

I questioned how a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall can be good? I found out quickly that this was the real deal. As I sat enjoying my carne asada burrito, I can see that this is where the locals come for fresh, authentic, flavorful Mexican food at a great price point. The service was fast and super friendly! I’m visiting this area for a week and I think a return visit here later on this week to try another dish is in the cards!

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! We love authentic and family owned Mexican food and this hit the spot. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals! I have some odd dietary restrictions and they did not even blink an eye at accommodating my needs. They told me they make everything to order, so it was easy to accommodate my needs. This was a breath of fresh air, as accommodations are usually do difficult for me. My parents come here often, as they are locals.... but it will be a regular stop for my husband and I when in town! The owner is so friendly and the food and drinks were delicious and worth the drive we have to take to get here.

I ordered the fajitas from Habaneros Restaurant through DoorDash. The food arrived fresh, and the packaging was well done, keeping everything intact. The vegetables were nicely caramelized, which added a good depth of flavor. However, the seasoning was a bit lacking—the dish was overall bland and could have used more salt. Despite that, I would order from here again and look forward to visiting the restaurant in person to try more of their menu.
