Habit Burger & Grill

Good as always, one of my favorite burger joints although something is changing. The char burger was a bit dry and patty felt smaller from what I remembered. I have move out of state and no Habbit in my area so try to go once at least when I come to the west coast.

After I ordered I tried to sit down. All of the tables were dirty. I tried to clean one and noticed the table was not cleaned for a while. The were cakes with crust and grease. When I used a napkin to try to clean it, the napkin showed a lot of dirt! Thank God they give you a tray to eat on. That looked clean enough. As far as the food goes, it was pretty good for habit Burger. The hamburger was made the way I asked it to be made, the french fries were perfectly cooked and I also ordered the housemaid ranch and that was pretty good. But a weird thing about the atmosphere is that there's Mexican music playing from the kitchen, and overhead musical speaker playing a different type of music. So that was weird and sounded bad. AWESOME cheeseburger. 8/10. The double charburger was juicy and seasoned perfectly. They even had a lettuce wrap for my gluten-free Mom. Fries were crunchy but fluffy inside. Service was friendly, restaurant (including the restroom) was clean.

Great management, staff and cooks! This place definitely has what it take to dominate the burger market here. Food is legit always fresh. Variety is small, but very well choosen. Clean and upscale decor really elevates this place, setting it apart from the other guys.

Great place to relax and the service is top notch as well! The burgers themselves are decent but not something to rave about. The meat was a bit overcooked and lacking flavor. Still worth visiting as service was awesome and it is in a nice quiet shopping mall in Encinitas.
