Hachi Sushi

8 years still hits best Japanese spot with lower sodium! I’ve been going to Hachi Sushi for about 8 years, and it still gives that authentic Japanese taste every single time. My go to is chicken teriyaki ( yeah I’m basic 😆) perfectly cooked, flavorful not doused in salt… miso soup hits perfect on cold days and I love that salad with steamed veggies and that yellow sauce don’t know what it is but it’s delicious 🔥 The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, though their prime time is 6:30 pm to 8pm Friday and Saturday so definitely call ahead for a reservation. They are BYoB, which is awesome because there’s a liquor store across the street. Their Sushi is top notch super fresh and balanced. We always have an amazing experience at this sushi spot. We’ve been here many times, and it never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh, delicious, and presented with great care. The sashimi is incredibly tender and just melts in your mouth. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and really knows their stuff—they make you feel welcome every time. One of the best perks is that it’s BYOB, and there’s a wine store conveniently right across the street. Just remember, they’re closed on Mondays. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving high-quality, authentic sushi. Can’t wait to come back again!

This was a hidden gem! The staff were excellent and the food is in my top 2 sushi places ever!!! The knifework from the sushi chefs were teeming with so much precision, and I can just tell they're highly qualified. It's a shame I didn't but a raw option because I honestly believe they would've done it in front of me! The actual customer service made me feel as if I were royalty. They were so sweet and kind, and the atmosphere was incredible. Now, onto the food, I bought a shrimp tempura roll and miso soup. The shrimp tempura rolls were the best tempura rolls I've EVER had. The deep umami was perfect, and when I accented it with the spicy mayo sauce, it had an EXPLOSION of flavor in my mouth from the savory flavor to the rich umami.
