Hacienda Los Guayabos Mexican Grill

We found this place after hearing rave reviews. When you walk in it’s like going back in time to our childhood Mexican restaurants in California and Texas, the good ones that aren’t a chain. Every meal we’ve had has been excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive (especially Luis). The Lengua Street Tacos are my favorite and hubs gets the chicken. The fajita enchiladas are also flavorful. The chips always arrive warm and the salsa is consistently good. The margaritas are strong and well-made. The seafood soup is very good and the first thing I ever tried.

Great food and service, we had Tacos and quesadillas and the service was great. Large portions and the server asked us if we needed anything multiple times and got refills quickly. The prices are also good especially with the portion size. And the warm chips and salsa were free.

From the outside this does not look like a restaurant that has a lot of space. Once you walk in you see that there is plenty of seating. I love the atmosphere inside of the restaurant. It is small enough to be cozy and intimate, but big enough to not be isolated. The waiter that I had was very nice and made sure that I did not need for anything. The hospitality was great. I love the food. I ordered the fries with steak, onion, sour cream, and queso on them, and a few drinks. Everything was cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy without me, even having to inform them to cook them like that, and the steak was cooked, but not overcooked, nice and juicy. Overall, I had a positive experience and I will be returning.

My favorite place each time I come in this area . The managers are very welcoming! The enchiladas are delicious, my advise if you love spicy dish, try their Burrito supreme with jalapeños and cream! The portions are large and satisfy any hunger!

I used to like this place and invite my friends. But there’s something happening with the flavor of the food. It’s missing flavor and it’s not what it used to be. Now all tastes bland and plain. The complimentary chips and salsa is the best of all things.
